World Wonders is a VR game aiming to promote exercise to the elderly for healthier living while making it fun through a selection of minigames.
Each minigame transports players to famous landmarks around the world in different time periods to simulate the experience of traveling while showing them interesting historical and cultural facts through its visuals.
With each minigame, players would use leg and arm movements as game controls and exercise as they play.
Players may also be able to select different characters to play as in the main menu, their outfits changing according to each minigame.

These are the two minigames that will be featured in World Wonders :
“March of the Royal Guard” is a game where players are transported to Windsor Castle, playing as a renaissance British grenadier soldier in a “Changing of the Guard” ceremony. To win, the player has to march to the beat of the marching band’s music, moving their arms and legs in the rhythm. Multiplayer mode has the player team up with friends to get a collective high score.

The controls are made to be similar to the HPB’s exercise, the Stationary March with Arm Swing where a person marches on the spot. This game incorporates it by having the players time this exercise to the rhythm of the music.
“Grand Canyon Race” is a game where players play as an American settler in the 1700s, racing through rocky terrain on horseback. To win, a player has to reach the finish line before their AI opponent while dodging the cactus obstacles. Multiplayer mode allows for a more competitive gameplay, with players racing against each other.

The controls are made to be similar to the HPB’s exercise, the Sit to Stand, an exercise in which someone holds their arms forward while shifting between sitting and standing. This game incorporates this exercise through having players hold their arms forward to max out the horse’s speed while having the player also shift between sitting and standing, which would prompt the horse to jump over obstacles.
