Jed Senthil is a passionate and dynamic individual and a first-year PhD candidate from the WKWSCI at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
With a background spanning civil service, non-profit, private, and startup sectors, he’s gained a deep understanding of diverse operational strategies. Despite facing challenges, Jed holds degrees in Bachelor’s in Business and Master of Media and Communication. Alongside his academic pursuits, Jed has experience as a tertiary-level lecturer, actor, and social entrepreneur. With an innate disposition for youth and community work, he has volunteered for over 20 years with various organisations.
His research focuses on behavioral and cognitive triggers from social media and influencers that promote physical exercise (Health Communications). He also explores communication aspects of Speech-User-Interfaces (SUIs), Generative AIs and Sports Management.
