Dr. Bao is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Communication and Media at City University of Hong Kong, supported by the Hong Kong RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme. She earned her PhD from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in Health Care Policy and Management from the University of Birmingham, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in the same field from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. Dr. Bao’s research interests are digital health, public health communication, health inequalities, and gerontology. She has published over 20 articles in top-tier journals, including Social Science & Medicine, Information, Communication & Society, Health Communication, and the Journal of Health Communication.
